| ACTIONSCRIPT |
ActionScript is an ECMA Script-based programming
language. It is mainly deployed for controlling Macromedia Flash
movies and applications. It deals with the formation and interactivity
of Macromedia Flash movies, which may comprise of animations,
audio, text and client-side logic. We have developed an online
e-recruitment application with its backend based on Flash Remoting
and .NET platform, and the front extensively developed using
Flash AS1; for one of our U.S.A based client.
ActionScript lacks run-time strong types. It provides object-oriented
features, such as interfaces, events and legacy. The object
oriented capability of Flash MX 2004 lies entirely in its compiler. |

| RIAs circumvent this slow looping of web
based applications as they take advantage of the client’s
CPU. They provide real-time user-interface options, which is
not possible with the standard HTML widgets available to browser-based
web applications. The computing assets of both client and server
are balanced in a better way, which reduces the load on the
server as compared to a web application. The networks load is
also reduced as the client is more intelligent as compared to
a web browser in determining what the data transaction to the
server. |

| FLASH COMMUNICATION SERVER |
| Flash communications server is a real
time, data and media distribution server, which supports Macromedia
Flash. It is written in the C programming language and applies
Actionscript for server-side logic. RTMP protocol is used by
Flashcomm to channel the information amongst users. Flashcomm
has comparatively higher buffer rate as compared to other contemporary
technologies. Flashcomm influence many enterprise applications
across the business world. Flashcomm has the capability of Video
Streaming, which is the broadcast delivery of Visual Information.
It has higher functionality over the Internet due to minimal
delay between starting of video and playing of video at the
receiving end. Coded video content is used to facilitate data
transmission over a limited bandwidth. The resulting file is
then made available to viewers accessing a player which is normally
embedded on a web page. |

| Macromedia Flash Remoting MX connects
Macromedia Flash and web application server, resulting in fast
and easy development of RIA. We integrate rich Macromedia Flash
content using Macromedia ColdFusion MX, Microsoft .NET, Java,
PHP and SOAP-based web services due to its powerful yet simple
programming model. This feature of the software led us to develop
an online photo album for one of our clients based in U.K. This
PHP and Flash Remoting powered web based photo album is one
of its kinds with its front end developed using AS2. |
