SiteCompli wanted a platform for property owners and services providers that can provide a comprehensive range of compliance related information from various govt. agencies / departments on a single platform. The purpose was to enable the property owners / managers to spend less time wading through confusing government data and more time effectively in managing their assets.

SiteCompli: Managing compliance issues was never this easy 

Based on client requirements, Icreon, using Cake PHP, developed SiteCompli.com. It scans and monitors data from NYC government websites for clients’ properties and tracks key compliance dates. Through it, the property owners in New York City can easily manage and respond to violations, complaints, inspections and more.

Separate interfaces have been built and integrated within the solution to give control to the different types of users to manage and track the information, viz. the admin and the company / individual.

Company/Individual User (the primary user) Module

The Portfolio Summary Module provides users with information such as list of properties, recent activity undertaken, open building violations, inspections due, complaints registered by the city, and if equipment inspections are completed and filed on time.

Against each property, users can attach notes or files, and export reports into an excel spreadsheet.  Users can also access the paper reports online and other document previously only available offline, making them part of their digital file and accessible over the internet.

The provision of providing the option of account alerts has also been provided, through which they can get notifications on inspections / certifications due for a property, relevant changes to the status of said violations or complaint, and stop work orders and work without a permit notices.

A calendar has also been integrated which helps users to track the notified complaints lodged or resolved by government agencies for a property, mandated inspections / certifications on the elevators, boilers and façades etc for a particular month. These can be synchronized with Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, and Apple iCal.

Admin Module

An admin can track and manage all the information on the website. It includes:

• Manage accounts, users and properties
• Manage expediting requests
• Manage content on sales / marketing pages
• Export reports based on a particular property / complaints / violations etc.
• Monitor and manage queue of email alerts sent to users

The solution has helped SiteCompli’s customers to dramatically improve their lives by easing the tedious process of acquiring information on land and real estate related compliance issues, thus helping them save both time and money and without Icreon this vision could not have been realized.
